ListaIcon My lists - customize, save and share

It is possible to save an adjusted selection list to create a selection report, this can be good for recurring selections and reports.

It is also possible to share saved selections with other users, this can be useful when you want to share a report within your organization and make sure that everyone has the same result.

Customize filters and columns in selection lists

In order to customize the filters and columns in a selection list press the MoreButtonIconSmall button located just above the list and choose option.

By choosing options it is possible to customize filter and column settings and save the adjusted selection list as a new report that will be added to My lists in the menu.

Filter options

After pressing Options from the menu a window will be displayed with the tabs Filter Options and Column Options. In order to change the filters choose “Filter Options”.

In the left list (Available) you can see all the available filters that are not currently in use. In the right list (In use) you will see all the filters that are in use right now.

In order to move the columns from one list to another, just select them and press the left or right arrows. In the “In use” list you can also change the order in which the filters should be displayed. To change the filter order, select a filter and press the up or down arrow to the right.

When your selection is done just press ‘save’ and the changes will be saved only to your specific user.

You can easily reset your changes back to default by clicking the “Reset” button

Tip: On a desktop you can mark several filters at once by holding shift. You can also use drag and drop in order to move them.

Column options

After pressing Options from the menu a window will be displayed with the tabs Filter Options and Column Options. In order to change the columns choose “Column Options”.

In the left list (Available) you can see all the available columns that are not currently in use. In the right list (In use) you will see all the columns that are in use right now.

Save as new selection list

Save As button gives you the option to save the changes and create a whole new selection list that will be available under My lists in the side menu.

Upon clicking Save As you will be able to name your Selection as well as giving it a description. Currently used filters will be saved as the default filters in the new Selection list.

You can also choose if other users should be able to edit this shared list by clicking in the Editable by others checkbox.

The filters that have a value when Saving As will be the default values of that filter in the new Selection list.

My Lists

All the selections you have saved as will be available in My lists menu. Just press any of the saved selections to open it. You can also delete a selection by clicking the checkbox button. Choose selections you want to delete and press the Remove.

My lists

You can share your own saved selections with other users and user groups. Your saved selections are listed under My lists in the menu.

To share selection, open it by clicking on it in the list. Under the more button MoreButtonIconSmall on your saved selection view, choose share.

In the pop-up it is possible to set a name and description of the selection, this can be useful information for the users you share the selection with. Here you also select with which users you want to share the selection with and if these users shall be able to edit the selection (changing filters and columns settings).

You can also see the list of users with whom the selection has been shared.

Note

The functionality in the list My lists gives you the possibility to select one or several selections to share. This function can be used as a shortcut to share one or multiple of your saved selection to the same users or user groups.

Shared selections

Under the tab Shared selections you can see the selections that other users have shared with you.

You can open a shared selection by clicking on it. From the more-button and Share you can see information about the selection, for example with which users it has been shared.
