Company group can be used as an umbrella or a mother company for a group of companies. On the company group view general information for a group of related customers can be handled. Those can be contacts, contact persons or information about the headquarter.
Create the new company group¶
The user can create the new company group from the main side menu ‘create new’ – ‘new company group’.
On the new company group card the obligatory fields are marked with *. After saving the information the new company’s group card opens.
After saving the information the company group is visible in:
- in the main side menu under ‘company groups’
- in the selection in the main side menu
Company group card¶
The header shows all the editable information from the company group card. In the bottom left-hand side corner there is the date and the name of the person who created/updated the company group as well as creating/updating date. The user can edit and change the information freely by using the ‘edit’ button.
- New - the user has the possibility to create the new: contact, appointment, task, call, e-mail, case and deal which will be related to the company group
- Relate - the user has the possibility to relate the existing: company, contact, private person, deal and case
The user can access and edit information related to the company group under Tabs.
Company – the user sees the list of all the companies related to the company group. The list contains functionality to call, find the company on google maps, view the company’s website or view the company on Allabolag. It is also possible to delete the relation between the company and the company group.
Contacts – the user sees the list of all the contacts related to the company group. Contact can be related as a Main contact or Contact. The list contains the functionality to call or email the contact person as well as the possibility to Inactivate/Activate or Delete the contact (if the user inactivates the contact, the field turns grey). The ‘Inactivate function’ sets the relation to inactive but does not delete or hide the related contact. The Delete function deletes the relation between the company group and the contact.
Private persons – the user sees the list of all the private persons related to the company group. The list contains the functionality to call or email a private person as well as the possibility to delete the relation between the private person and the company group.
Activities – the user sees the list of all the activities related to the company group, both done and not done.
Deals – the user sees the list of all the deals related to the company group, as well as deals related to companies related to this company group. The deal status is on the right-hand side next to the delete function. Deleting the relation between the deal and the company group is possible.
Cases – the user sees the list of all the cases related to the company group. The case status is on the right-hand side next to the delete function. The user can delete the relation between the case and the company.
Document – the user sees the list of all the documents related to the company group. The user can remove the document from the list.
Forms – the tab shows all the available form templates published on the object. To start a new form from a template, click on it. The list shows both ongoing (can be opened to continue) and finished forms (can only be previewed). The PDF icon enables to download the form (in PDF format). The bin icon enables deleting a form. The envelope icon allows the user to send a form with an e-mail (sent as a PDF attachment).
